Corpus Christi American Meteorological Society (2CAMS)
2CAMS is the official student branch of the national American Meteorological Society at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Since its founding in 2017, 2CAMS has been the go-to organization for students passionate about weather and atmospheric sciences, providing a platform to connect, collaborate, and engage with the broader meteorological community.
Whether you're an atmospheric science major or simply curious about the weather, 2CAMS offers exciting opportunities to network, learn, and grow. We host monthly meetings featuring guest speakers from various meteorological fields, giving students direct insight into careers and advancements in atmospheric science.
Our organization proudly supports students by helping fund travel to the annual AMS meeting and other conferences. Through 2CAMS, students gain access to valuable resources, including internship opportunities and scholarships, all shared through our active listserv.
Join 2CAMS today and become part of a community that’s shaping the future of meteorology—one forecast at a time!
