Cloud geographical distribution Over Atlantic Ocean , mean high level (10-14 km) cloud volume fraction is about 2.9%. Mean mid level (5-10 km) cloud volume fraction is about 8.3%. Mean low level (1-5 km) cloud volume fraction is about 11.3%. Cloud seasonal and diurnal variation Seasonal and day vs. night variations of high, mid and low level cloud fraction over Atlantic Ocean are shown in following figure.
